The central government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana to enhance the income of farmers, so the state of Madhya Pradesh has also done the same. Recently, the central and state governments collaborated to launch a special scheme in Madhya Pradesh namely Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana or otherwise known as CM Kisan Kalyan Yojana. The objective of this scheme is to double the income of farmers so that they do not have to go through financial crisis in their agricultural profession. The funds of the Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana are distributed in two installments, each worth of Rs 2,000, totaling of Rs 4,000 per year. In addition, they receive Rs 6000 annually through PM Kisan Yojana. The names of the farmers who will benefit from this initiative will be registered in the beneficiary list on the SARA portal.

Amount of CM Kisan Kalyan Yojana

The farmers of Madhya Pradesh used to get Rs 4000 under the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana, which has now been raised to Rs 6000. Additionally they receive Rs 6,000 under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi of the Central Government. The bottom line is that from now on, farmers of MP will get a total of Rs 12000 per year under CM Kisan Kalyan Yojana.

Mukhyamantri Samman Nidhi Yojana Eligibility

• Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh state.
• Must have 2 hectares or more of cultivable land.
• Farmers will be eligible for this scheme only if they have applied for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, as PM Kisan ID is required.
• Government employees who pays tax to the government cannot apply for this scheme.
